About InvestingStack
An independent research site about the AI stack behind investing. Data first, opinions second, stock tips never.
What this is
InvestingStack tracks the agents, models, tools, data sources, brokers and research that make up AI-driven investing. Think of it as a mix of a market data terminal, a product directory and a GitHub trending page for one narrow field. The directory currently covers 78 projects, and every open-source project on it carries metrics pulled from the GitHub API each day.
We built it because the space is loud. Repositories gain tens of thousands of stars on the back of return claims that nobody can reproduce, and most commentary is either marketing or hype. We wanted one place that shows what exists, what it actually does, how much attention it gets and, where we can test it, how it behaves.
What we publish
- The Stack: a curated directory across six layers. Entries are written by us, in neutral language, and link to the primary source. Closed products are listed with what can be verified from public documentation.
- Leaderboard and GitHub Radar: rankings built only from objective metrics such as stars, star deltas, forks, releases and pushes. The formulas are on the methodology page.
- Research: audits of repositories and analyses of the methodologies and architectures behind agentic investing systems. Every claim links to the code or paper it comes from, and audits publish their raw data.
What we do not do
- We do not give investment advice, publish stock tips or recommend any security. See the disclosures.
- We do not take payment for placement, ranking or coverage. If that ever changes, it will be labelled.
- We do offer paid consulting on how to design agentic systems around your own strategy. That is separate from the directory and does not influence it; see the disclosures.
- We do not run money, real or simulated, through any of the agents we track, and we publish no portfolios.
- We do not publish numbers we cannot source. If a figure is on the site, it links to where it came from.
How the site is built
The directory lives in a version-controlled registry. A sync job pulls repository metadata from GitHub once a day and records a star snapshot, so momentum numbers come from our own history as it accumulates, with OSSInsight star history filling the gap until then. There is no market-data feed anywhere on the site. Pages are statically generated from that data, which is why there is no loading spinner anywhere.
Corrections and contact
If a description is wrong, a project is missing or a metric looks off, use the submission form or write to support@investboard.de. Corrections are applied in the registry with a visible commit, not silently.
