What it is
ALTA (Autonomous LLM Trading Asterism) models a virtual research firm: four specialist scouts pursue leads, independent reviewers challenge the evidence, a strategy desk compares ways to act, and every handoff leaves an inspectable record in an operator console. Execution is a separate boundary with a shadow mode and a broker-API mode (six connectors including Alpaca, IBKR, Tiger and Futu) that needs explicit authorisation; the README says live-account acceptance is not established.
