What it is

PIXIU released FinMA, an instruction-tuned financial model, together with the instruction dataset and an evaluation suite that later grew into FinBen. It is the reference point for comparing financial LLMs on sentiment, headline classification, NER, question answering and stock-movement tasks.

In the maintainers' words: “This repository introduces PIXIU, an open-source resource featuring the first financial large language models (LLMs), instruction tuning data, and evaluation benchmarks to holistically assess financial LLMs. Our goal is to continually push forward the open-source development of financial artificial intelligence (AI).”
