What it is

vectorbt turns backtesting into array operations, which makes it fast enough to sweep large parameter grids and to feed ML pipelines. The open-source version is feature-frozen; development continues in the paid vectorbt PRO.

The open-source edition is in maintenance mode; new features ship in vectorbt PRO (paid).

In the maintainers' words: “The backtesting engine that gives you an unfair advantage. Run thousands of trading ideas before others finish one.”
